All you need to know
Exercise is good for you
Physical activity provides a range of benefits to mental health, physical health and well being. Dance has been shown to improve strength, agility, flexibility and balance while encouraging good posture and body alignment. It spurs creativity, motivation and improves energy. In essence, dance stimulates the mind, body and soul.
Low impact means easy on your joints
Our workouts offer fun, low impact physical activity whether seated or standing. We've made our DVDs for everyone to enjoy! We've had amazing feedback from older adults, those with limited mobility &/or balance issues and people recovering from injury. We've also heard from people with chronic diseases like degenerative and inflammatory arthritis, that are able to enjoy exercise again.
Burn those calories!
Even though our programs are low impact on your joints, it doesn't mean they're low impact on calories. Burn those pounds away wether your sitting or standing. Tailor your workout and take it at your own pace and remember to stay hydrated!
I have an aggressive inflammatory autoimmune arthritis that prevents me from being able to do any weight bearing exercise. The SMILE workout is so easy and so much fun that I just put on the DVD and my joints and muscles get moving without stressing them at all.
– Angela - Randwick, Sydney
Gina has put together an amazing program, full of vibrance and style. When I put on the SMILE & Sway DVD, even though I'm 88, for those 45mins I feel young and active again!
– Thelma - Little Bay Coast Centre for Seniors
I really enjoy the DVD. Even though you're in a chair you get a full body work out and sweat like crazy!
– Trish - Rosebery, Sydney
Gina brightens up the room with her smile and everyone looks forward seeing her. Her happy face and her dance moves are quite easy to follow and very enjoyable
